There is a tremendous beauty when we can talk.
The muffled waves of pleasantries bounce off the walls.
With the demeanour of a calculated chess player
A distant and detached exchange of muted sounds,
A quick smile and a subtle glance.
Yet there are beasts within both of us.
A meaningful connection between you and I.
One that wants to pounce on the other,
One that simply wants to be loved.
The conversation passes on,
Of complete nothingness,
Of things meaningless.
And we trail on…
